2009 International Patient and Health Care Professional Conference on Pheochromocytoma and Paraganglioma set for 9/30 – 10/2
Leading researchers and physicians from around the world will meet in Parsippany, New Jersey along with patients and families. This comprehensive program will cover diagnosis, genetics, management, and treatment of pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma. Ongoing research will be reviewed.
A gala evening, Spreading the Word, is also planned on October 1.
The program will begin on Wednesday, September 30, at the Parsippany Hilton, with registration from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, followed by a brief program and cocktails. The welcome and keynote address, Pheochromocytoma: An Overview of Research Achievements, by Karel Pacak will be followed by an update on PRESSOR (the Pheochromocytoma Research and Support Organization) by Henri Timmers and an introduction to the PheoPara Alliance by Edward J. Kauffman. A cocktail reception will follow.
Nine exciting sessions are offered on Thursday and Friday, ranging from science and genetics to treatment options and the patient experience.
