The Fourth Annual International Patient Symposium on Pheochromocytoma: Working Together Today for a Better Tomorrow was held on May 13-14 at  The Katzen Arts Center at American University in Washington, DC.

Over the two-day program numerous speakers were featured including US Congressman Patrick Murphy, television personality Pat Collins, patient testimonials, and a host of some of the most accomplished medical scientists, researchers and doctors from the premier medical institutions in the United States.

We are enormously grateful to all those that participated in the symposium and gave their time and shared their experience on so many different levels.  We also thank our attendees as many traveled great distances to have access to attend.

The Gala was held Saturday May 14th  at the The American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center.

Pat Collins, award winning reporter with NBC News4 was our awards presentation master of ceremonies as we honored the First Lady of Maryland Yumi Hogan with the Cy Katzen Humanitarian Award.

There were many moving speeches including First Lady of Maryland Yumi Hogan, and guests were treated by a special performance by the Tender Hearts.  We furthered our mission by raising more money for research, and we look now toward 2017.
